CHARITY EVENT PROGRAM
Have a Little Fun with Your Work Team – and Give Back to the Community – with Penn Brewery’s Guest Bartender Program
HOW IT WORKS: A designated manager or director of your organization goes into action behind the bar at Penn Brewery’s Downtown Taproom, pouring and serving his/her team members, along with other Taproom guests, fabulous Penn beer and other adult beverages. For each beverage purchased, Penn will make a donation to the charity of the team’s choice. It’s a great way to have a little fun and give back to the community!
If the event is scheduled during Penn’s regular Happy Hour timeframe (4-6 pm), Penn will offer $1 off draft beers (rather than the standard $2 off), and we will donate the additional $1 from the guest’s beer to the charity. For all other alcoholic beverages ordered, Penn will donate an amount equal to 10% of the retail price of each beverage.
If the event is scheduled outside of Penn’s regular Happy Hour timeframe, Penn will donate an amount equal to 10% of the retail price of any alcoholic beverage purchased, including, beer, wine, liquor, and mixed drinks.
We recommend scheduling as an after-work Happy Hour, or as an evening event lasting one or two hours. Guest bartender events can be booked Monday-Thursday.
Please contact Darrell or Chad at the Taproom (412)-391-5140 or at to request a guest bartender spot. Please book at least two weeks in advance.
Penn will promote your guest bartender and charitable donation program on our social media. We recommend that the guest bartender also promote to his/her team or organization members.
There is no charge to the guest bartender or organization to participate in the Guest Bartender program.
Please note that unless you specifically wish to restrict the event to your own list of guests, you will be sharing the Taproom space with other Penn patrons. If you wish to reserve the Taproom exclusively for your group as a private event, please visit our Taproom webpage for more information and guidelines.
