Main Dining Room

Our main dining room is designed in the style of a real German beer hall, featuring wood paneling, long handmade, solid wood tables and benches, and a copper-topped bar.  The room features space for live entertainment, as well as a direct view of the brewhouse so guests can watch the brewers at work.  The main dining room can seat up to 90 guests, and the entire space is available for private parties Monday-Thursday. No private parties may be scheduled in the main dining hall on Fridays or Saturdays.  A minimum food & beverage purchase of $3500 is required, and a $150 surcharge is applied for any events booked fewer than two weeks in advance.


Ratskeller

The Ratskeller is a cozy space decorated with rich dark wood paneling, colorful stained-glass windows, and a direct view of our large beer tanks in the Lager Keller. The Ratskeller seats up to 60 guests and includes its own private bar.  Availability and pricing for the Ratskeller is as follows:

Eisenhalle ("Iron Hall")

This spacious room, designed in the style of an industrial loft, pays tribute to Pittsburgh’s more recent Renaissance history and features beautiful views of the city’s skyline.  Eisenhalle is equipped to host cocktail parties, buffet-style meals, and business meetings and features its own private bar.  Eisenhalle can be reserved for a minimum of 40 to a maximum of 120 seated guests for a dinner buffert (without allowance for entertainment or other equipment). It may also be reserved fo a minimum of 40 to a maximum of 80 guests for dinner and dancing.  A minimum food & beverage spend of $700 applies for a lunch event and $900 applies for a dinner event. A rental fee of $300 applies to reserve the room only if no food or beverage service is ordered.  A $150 surcharge is added for any event booked fewer than two weeks in advance.

 



Audiovisual Equipment & Services


Penn Brewery does not keep an extensive stock of audio-visual equipment. If you will need audiovisual equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, lecterns, etc., or AV services and support, we'd like to recommend that you contact Dave at Appel Services, a preferred vendor, and book your equipment directly.
