Penn Brewery Restaurant specializes in “Euro-Pittsburgh” fare – favorite dishes that originated with the many immigrant groups that settled Pittsburgh.  Enjoy authentic Polish pierogi, German wursts, Hungarian goulash soup, and Scotch eggs.  Or, try modern Pittsburgh specialties like steak salad topped with homemade fries, or our kielbasa Reuben.  Pair your meal with one of Penn’s handcrafted beers, take a seat in our authentic Bierhalle or outdoor Biergarten, and savor the authentic flavor of Pittsburgh!

On select evenings, Penn Brewery also offers live entertainment as well as special themed events.  Be sure to check our calendar for all the details.

Did you know? Penn's pierogi were recently voted winner, second place, in WPXI's "Pittsburgh's Best Pierogi" contest, 2011.  In addition, the restaurant was again recognized as one of the city's top restaurants in Pittsburgh Magazine's 2011 readers' poll.

Reservations are not required, but are recommended for parties of six or more. Call the restaurant at 412-237-9400 (press 3 for the restaurant) and speak to one of our staff members for assistance.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, we accept only 2-3 reservations for larger dinner parties arriving by 6:00 p.m.
 

Please Note:

On busy evenings when there is live entertainment, our main dining tables are reserved for dinner guests. We do request a two- hour seating limit at our dining tables on these nights to provide our other guests with plenty time to enjoy food and beer at the brewery as well! After that, we welcome you to move to our bar area and continue to enjoy listening to our live music and the remainder of your visit with Penn Brewery! We will try our best to accept reservation requests to be seated near live bands on these nights.
